My Bio
Joshua Edwards is a highly talented artist specializing in the medium of graphite and charcoal imagery. Initially exhibited in Australia at age 22, Joshua’s work is highly praised and combines stunning realism with a rare talent for original composition and human commentary.
Using traditional methods, he has forged significant new ground in the monochrome medium. Though his work contains the traditional still life compositions, Joshua is most recognized for uniting subjects and elements in a context that speaks to viewer’s emotions. His ability to integrate disparate portions of human and machine into stunningly life like structures is reminiscent of H. R. Geiger. Additionally, his use of light and imagery has been favorably compared to the likes of such masters as M. C. Escher and Salvador Dali.
Joshua was recently the recipient of the prestigious Daily Deviation award on deviantart.com. He is repeatedly requested for online interviews concerning his work, methods and inspiration all of which are available on the Greyfell Art facebook.com page.

Very happy today to say the least….My drawing ‘Fatale Fashion’ got a selection as the Daily Devation. Had no idea till I logged in and saw the 500 or so activity messages. Really want to say a big thank you to everyone who regularly likes the drawings that I post on my here and Greyfell Art…it really does make a huge difference to your confidence levels when you see your work being appreciated and believed in. Always felt that I've been reasonably proficient on a technical level with my work, but with this gear and cog series of drawings I’m maybe starting to find my voice as an artist rather than being just a go
